On 29th November 2018, Keito Ichinose (M1), Department of Chemical System Engineering, received the JSSE Award for Outstanding Young Researcher at The 51st Symposium of The Japan Society for Safety Engineering.

Title of the presentaion is "Effect of particle size and particle agglutination on flame propagation behavior in dust clouds".
PMMA powder was used and the explosion lower limit concentration, which is an index of the explosion possibility, and the flame propagation velocity were measured. It is considered that the minimum explosible concentration is mainly governed by the particle number density and the flame propagation velocity is mainly governed by the specific surface area of particles.

I am honored to have such an award this time. I deeply appreciate Prof. Dobashi who is giving guidance from us and the laboratory.
I would like to continue my research and develop my research in the future.
