On 13th March 2017, Takuya Arizono, Department of Information and Communication Engineering, 4th Year Student in the Faculty of Engineering, wins a Student Paper Award at the 53rd IPSJ SIGUBI Workshop. IPSJ SIGUBI committee gives awards to the best student paper at the 53rd IPSJ SIGUBI Workshop.

 

 

<About awarded research>
Title: Examining Load Perception of a Liquid-based Weight-shifting Device
Abstract: We create a dumbbell-like weight-shifting device which aims to be used for exergames motivating free-weight workouts. In this paper, we explain the implementation of our current prototype device and results of a quantitative perception study on the change of the center of mass.
