In vivo molecular analysis contributes to the understanding of life phenomena and the diagnosis of diseases. Especially, hyperpolarized MR technique is a promising modality for in vivo molecular analysis. However, there is a limitation derived from short hyperpolarization lifetime. In this study, we explored the molecular structure with long hyperpolarization lifetime and succeeded in developing the molecule with much longer hyperpolarization lifetime. Then, this molecule could be converted to molecular sensor for analyzing biomolecules.

It is a great honor to receive this award. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Prof. Shinsuke Sando, Lecturer Hiroshi Nonaka, and our lab members for all their support and fruitful discussion.
