On 31th May 2019,Taiga Ishii (M2), Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, received the 68th SPSJ Annual Meeting Poster Award.
This award was presented to students who gave a distinguished poster presentation in The 68th SPSJ Annual Meeting.

<About awarded research>
Gel electrolytes are an electrolyte which can keep their electronic properties even if they are bent. They are expected to be applied to flexible electronics which has been attracting much attention. The gel electrolytes are fabricated by gelation of liquid electrolytes. In this research, we designed and synthesized a novel macrocyclic ionic liquid oligomer, which bear multiple ionic moieties. By mixing this new ionic liquid and polymer chain, we demonstrated the formation of novel gel electrolyte.

<Your impression & future plan>
It is indeed a great honor for me to receive this poster award. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Prof. Dr. Takuzo Aida, Dr. Yoshimitsu Itoh and also our lab colleagues for all of their supports. I will devote myself to studying and deepening my research.
